HP 48GII USB / Serial Pinout - Tracer21 - 01-22-2022 11:30 PM

The 48GII is unique in that is has a MiniUSB Port that exposes the serial UART connections (as opposed to being like a normal USB connection like the 49G+ and 50G).

To connect a 48GII to a computer, you'll need a USB to UART adapter with 3.3V outputs (the Samsung CPU uses 3.3V I/O) and a MiniUSB cable cut open.

Connections:

MiniUSB Cable | UART

Ground (Black) | Ground
D+ (White) | RX
D- (Green) | TX

You'll need to select the correct COM Port from the Connectivity Kit and choose 115200 Baud
