entering matrices from the matrix writer to the stack - braytonbailey - 12-01-2023 05:50 PM I am a long time HP 50g user, and I purchased my current hp50 on ebay I think. My problem is that if I enter a matrix from the matrix writer to the stack it places it on the stack not as a matrix but as a series of row vectors delimited by curly braces. I can't manipulate them to do inverses or standard matrix multiplication. I have looked through the flags and the modes and cannot figure out how to change this. I know I can enter matrices directly to the stack but I prefer doing it with the matrix writer. Any help would be appreciated. Clear: Matrix Writer returns arrays only, like the HP 48GX calculator. Set: Matrix Writer returns a list of lists. sounds like you have it Set (curly braces enclose lists). Default state is Clear. |
