Connecting 50g to Win 10 64-Bit
I have Windows 10 64-bit and have disabled driver signing enforcement to allow the HP USB driver to be installed. There's no error showing in Device Manger for the HPx9G+ DEVICE.
I'm trying to run the Calculator Connectivity Kit Version 2.3 Build 2439. It can't see the calculator. I start the Xmodem server on the calculator and click OK. The message comes up "Looking for Calculator" but it's never found. Also, I'm trying to run the newRPL Desktop and that can't find the calculator, either. I used to connect to the HP software with Win 7 but that was a long time ago. I may have forgotten any tricks necessary. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any pointers you may give. Tom L Cui bono? |
