The answer is a squewed distribution (Gauss, or Poisson, or something else?).
I did some quick calculations in Matlab. For the sum of 1, the most frequent number of random numbers is 2. The distribution dies out fast. For the sum of 2, the most frequent number of random numbers is 4. Also, the distribution dies out fast. Namir |
