We spent the first day (Sunday) recovering from jet lag. We started by visiting this church.

Then we just wandered along and came to Bei Hai park.

Duck boats and miniskirts were just not what I expected in China.

This is a little more like the China I was expecting.

Chris tried his Mandarin by asking for Iced Tea and got a solid cylinder of Tea-Ice.

After we climbed these steps a Chinese Woman looked at us and said "I'm so tired!" in English.

You had to pay again to walk these last few feet. We didn't.
