Apropos of Nothing:

The forum software uses members' complaints about other members as the basis for bumping up the warning levels on members. 5 bumps (I'm pretty sure) will lock out a member from all forums.

Complaints are easily made by just hitting the "Report" button below each post. The moderator's role is simply to determine if a complaint is frivolous or not.

We moderators are not all-seeing. With ISP outages, vacation. overtime at work, family business and a normal tendency to read the parts of the forum that we each find most interesting - we can miss things.

One "report" lets us know that there may be spam or another issue. Almost all will be either acted on, or at least answered.
