Sharp EL-531TG calculator quick review
Saw this at Kroger last night, $12, looked interesting so I bought it and played with it.

Good:
great display
12 digits
home key to quickly get out of modes
good keyboard feel
number base conversions (2, 5, 8, 10, 16)
random #
lots of variables, STO RCL
can evaluate expressions
fractions
combinations/permutations
lots of stat functions

Bad:
not programmable
not an equation solver
no repeat key sequences
no sigma
no prime factors

For the money, not a bad toy.

I'd describe that as 10+2 digits (mantissa+exponent).
