Busicom 141-PF Calculator
Not super HP related but an attempt to keep an old calculator alive (for its 49th birthday tomorrow).
I completed my RetroShield 4004 daughtercard for Arduino Mega. It can emulate Busicom 141-PF calculator using the original ROM images. Intel 4004 chip executes code while Arduino emulates rest of the calculator hardware (spinning drum printer and the keyboard). Let me know if you want me to run any tests Write-up here: http://8bitforce.com/projects/4004/ Calculator ROM extracted and fully documented (by 4004.com team): https://www.4004.com/2009/Busicom-141PF-...-1-0-1.txt https://www.4004.com/ I will try to bring it to the next get-together. Also thank you for the sites on this subject. A couple of other pages related related to this: http://www.vintagecalculators.com/html/b...41-pf.html http://www.vintagecalculators.com/html/b..._4004.html Edit: Oops. I just discovered the links I posted were already on one of the pages you listed. |

RE: Busicom 141-PF Calculator
Thank you for the links. (I wasn't sure if it was ok to link another calculator page here )
The story page was a good read. I added it to my blog. Thank you again. Once I'm done w/ CPU's, I'll see if there is any vintage calculator chips we can use. |
