Documents/articles/pictures/etc no longer available. (fixed)

I have received an email from my local hosting provider telling me that they have lost most of their servers in one shot
So for now, all my documents/articles/pictures/etc are no longer available.
This is the second time I am loosing access to my data, the first time it was with Dropbox and now from a local provider.
I am currently looking at what is needed to host the data myself.
Anyway, I will post an update when the data is available again, sorry for that.

As for hosting the data yourself, ask Eric Rechlin. He should know all about it and is the friendliest person in the planet, he's sure to help you.

With regards to hosting, have you thought about a small cluster of RPi4, with some SD-drive attached? Depending on your ISP, this could be potentially done quite cheaply and effectively. (or so they say).

If helpful, I have a number of RPi's lying around and would be happy to contribute a half dozen or so if that would be helpful.

Hi Sylvain,

I'm also sorry about this annoying issue with your always valuable information.

Since you're one of the most meticulous person I've ever met, I'm confident you have these documents available on back-up.

I also keep safety copies of all our correspondence; so please let me know if you need to recover any such info.

My records are at your disposition.

Thank you all!
To clarify things, the data itself is not lost but the data organisation will have to be partially redone.
There is still hope that the host provider will be able to restore the data as it was, no sure thought.
It seems that they were hit by a ransomware attack, live data and backups too.
I am receiving daly updates of their restoring progress, I will know more in a week how things stand.

Host provider data restore worked, all pages, documents, pictures, etc. should be available again!
