You normally are able to cancel them with the ON key. The hourglass doesn't always come on with some CAS operations and we haven't been able to figure out why yet...

Actually, I and several others have mentioned this in the past. I like to print copies of my program listings after editing them in the CK. Right now I have to copy/paste them into Windows Notepad, and do a CTRL-P to print them. I seems like it should be fairly easy to incorporate this capability into the CK.

I'd like to be able to print PPL source code instead of having to copy the source and paste it into notepad or whatever. It would be even better if I could print right from the calculator but since that won't be happening, printing the source from the CK will do.

Ok, I've put printing in on the list of stuff to look at. The connkit is QT based and I haven't done any printing from there yet. However, it looks rather simple.

Is it purely from the notes/programs, or do you think you want to be able to print out things like the a-z variables in a table?

Well, just speaking for myself, I'd be good with doing a screen print of anything that appears in an edit window.

Can anyone give me the link or place to find the newest firmware for the HP Prime. I tried it and can not seem to get it. Also, I found somewhere else where it says it was the 6940 firmware but it was a whole bunch of DAT files. Can anyone help me please? Thank you

Thanks but where can I get the latest firmware update. IT seems as thought the New Version 2014.1124 is the newest one and I can not find it anywhere. I want to do 3D graphs on my HP Prime and from what I am seeing so far, I can not get the app for that unless I have the 6940 firmware. Can someone please help. Thanks

In the first post in this thread, Tim gives the URL. But you have to remove the 'http://ftp' and replace it with 'ftp://' in your browser. You can use the controls at the top of the page to go back to the first page of posts.

I have WIndows 8.1 so I am not sure if I have to first open the connectivity kit or do I just plug my Prime and double click on one of those icons. Can you please advise. Thank you so much for your help. I feel as though I am getting closer to solving this mystery.

Download the software in the link provided in the first post. As Jonathan noted already, you have to manually copy the link and remove the "http://" part. Install all the programs (in particular the connectivity kit). Run the connectivity kit after it installs and check for updates. Then connect your HP Prime to your computer (with the connectivity kit running) and it should prompt you to update the calculator. If it doesn't, right-click on the calculator in the connectivity kit window (in the tab on the left), and select Update firmware. You may need to wait a second or two if you don't see that option when you right-click.

If for some weird reason when you check for updates in the connectivity kit and it doesn't download the new firmware, you can extract the firmware zip file (see link in first post) into your

My Documents/HP Connectivity Kit/firmware

folder, and then proceed by connecting your calculator and follow the instructions above.

I have to add that I checked with the mobile phone this link on the day that Tim published and I could see all updates. They have now disappeared.

This is probably good news! It could mean that HP has acknowledged the bugs in the new revision and is working on fixes to be released soon (I hope!).

I'd like to be able to print anything. Not just a screen print but the entire listing of a PPL program or list of variables.

Thank you for your help with my questions. I uploaded version 2.4 of the graph 3D app. It seems as though it is the only one for now that I can use because my firmware is only version 6031. I guess I have to wait until they put a new version up again so I can upgrade. I really want to get the newest 3D app because I want to be able to graph spheres as well. Nope, first I've seen that. Looks like there are some problems going on with the publishing system as nothing should have removed that folder. My guess is some automatic "cleaning" routine found there was nothing in that folder one all the older versions were removed and removed the dir...
