HHC 2015 will be held September 26/27

News flash: HHC 2015 will be held on the 4th weekend of September (Saturday the 26th & Sunday the 27th), which is a week later than the date that was announced during HHC 2014. The change was made to minimize conflicts with other events.

Mark your calendar. Don't schedule anything else that weekend!

Location: Not yet decided. Maybe Nashville. Stay tuned.

Is there an update on the venue yet? Those of us coming from a bit further afield need to start thinking about travel plans.

No. Sorry! Last I heard, hotels only in Nashville (Tennessee) and San Jose (California) are being actively looked into. Nothing has solidified yet.

Long time lurker, first time poster, I'm hoping for San Jose. (I live there) I'd love to attend. This would be my second. I attended once before when it was hosted in Corvallis, OR. Probably the late 70's?

But I know how expensive it is to "host" here. I guess I won't hold my breath.

To see a list of previous conference dates and locations, check here. The Corvallis conferences were in 1981, 1988, 1991 and 2008.

Thanks Jake. It must have been 1981. I was working for HP by 1988 (not in calculators). I had purchased an 41c a couple years before. I was living in Los Angeles area and the salesmen showed me a demo of the "byte jumper" and told me about synthetic programing and the PPC. I joined immediately and I am actually credited for my help with documentation in the creation of the PPC ROM.

When I found out about the conference in Corvallis, I had to go. I was one of several that car pooled up in the back of a big RV that another member owned.
