When there will be a better solution we'll be able to avoid local u and v and also purge()... I have done the same in my program for Linear and curvilinear integrals (in Library) for the same purpose. ∫aL√0mic (IT9CLU) :: HP Prime 50g 41CX 71b 42s 39s 35s 12C 15C - DM42, DM41X - WP34s Prime Soft. There is no better solution! Declaring symbolic variables as local variables and purge them after (or assume(.,DOM_SYMBOLIC)) is the recommanded way to use symbolic variables in a CAS function.

I'm using this method and it's ok. ∫aL√0mic (IT9CLU) :: HP Prime 50g 41CX 71b 42s 39s 35s 12C 15C - DM42, DM41X - WP34s Prime Soft. Lib |

RE: Help for a "Surface and Flux integrals" program
It puts out shit on VC, works on HW, I will try a reset of VC and reinstall everything, I simply wanted to try debug with cas.
Arno I cleared memory and reinstalled a backup, then it worked again, so upgrading still needs a memory wipe, at least from time to time. |

RE: Help for a "Surface and Flux integrals" program
understood. I tried on HW and it worked...
Maybe time to time a refresh of memory is needed, yes. ∫aL√0mic (IT9CLU) :: HP Prime 50g 41CX 71b 42s 39s 35s 12C 15C - DM42, DM41X - WP34s Prime Soft. Lib |
