I've always liked the look of those voyagers and two lines will make it much easier to get into RPN. The DM-42L looked really nice.

I never had any trouble with that. Perhaps because I'd been writing assembler programs for years beforehand so the whole "stack concept" wasn't new to me. Although four levels was a bit limiting

At least to me, the chief value of the 2-line display is not also seeing the Y-register, but rather in PGM mode, seeing the opcode in addition to the key-codes makes it far easier/quicker to grasp the program statements, when editing, and especially when using SST. I agree that if you have experience using RPN, it might occasionally be useful to see Y, but this is a secondary benefit.
Seeing the Y register and some other setup mode controls using the 2-line display are nice, and add convenience, but these are leveraged side-effects of having a 2-line LCD available.

Good point Bob! I might have to reconsider my "cheap bastard" ways
As an aside does anyone know how to get rid of that annoying little guy on your shoulder saying "Buy one. You know that you want to"?
