RE: Sharp EL-5510/PC-1421 manual or reference - rprosperi - 05-09-2023 09:43 PM I will be receiving a copy of "Exploring the Sciences II" for the Sharp EL-5150 from about '85 in a few days. Though I am not set up to scan it, I am happy to loan it out for scanning if anyone is inclined to do so. I've no idea (yet) how similar/different it is from the similar titles for other contemporaneous models, possibly the same content simply adjusted for the different keystrokes? If interested, feel free to email me. RE: Sharp EL-5510/PC-1421 manual or reference - Dave Britten - 05-09-2023 10:14 PM Interesting! The EL-5150 uses AER programming rather than BASIC, so I imagine the material can be used with - or easily adapted to - many of the other AER models, such as the EL-5030 that I have. http://www.arithmomuseum.com/szamologep.php?id=25&lang=en RE: Sharp EL-5510/PC-1421 manual or reference - acg - 05-09-2023 11:30 PM Thanks for scanning the Computing the Sciences! Fantastic. RE: Sharp EL-5510/PC-1421 manual or reference - acg - 05-10-2023 01:14 AM Yes, great stuff. I’m guessing the programs could be easily adaptable to most of the later AER models, but probably more work to go back as far the EL-5100. (Amazing calculator in my opinion!) That site does a great job with the evolution of AER. |
