That is something I didn't realize. At the time I was using MS-DOS, and ENABLE, an all-in-one software with Word Processing, Spreadsheet, and Database.

A little bit of Lotus 1,2,3 as well.

I have Excel for DOS in a VM. Also DOS back to v2.11 (1983).

A co-worker told me that Unix was far superior to DOS in 1985. True--it was. Mac's were better too.

Then PC's "grew up" Smile

PS: My error (bad memory). Excel 2.0 was the first version for PC's under Windows 2.x (which ran on DOS?).

Is there any hope of getting it to work on Libreoffice? It doesn't seem to, at the moment. For those of us not wanting MS Office. thanks!

Did not work for me, too.

I tried a number of options, including the above, but I don't believe Libreoffice (with the latest version installed in Windows) is compatible with PH15C_Interface.xls.

The following is the first error that I see when I open PH15C_Interface.xls with Libreoffice. I see other error messages if I try to us any of the buttons in PH15C_Interface.xls.

I'm sorry but LibreOffice (and OpenOffice) doesn't really support VBA.
So the PH15C interface can't work at all in these environments, and this kind of development is not an option for me.
But my code is accessible to anyone who feels able to try to adapt it to make an "OtherOffice" version...
And I remain available for explanations if needed.

thanks Pierre.

After installing Libre Office I tried to test my PH15C interface by specifying the VBA parameter...
A lot of INCOMPATIBILITIES... too many...
I will now have to uninstall this "incompatible" product...

PH15C Interface is nevertheless operational (as well as PX41CX Interface) on Windows and Mac platforms with many versions of Excel, thanks to those who helped me test and improve my tool.
