Keystroke programmables with alpha-numeric display - Dave Britten - 04-02-2014 11:23 AM

It's just occurred to me that I can't think of very many keystroke programmables that display actual instruction names. Are they that uncommon?

HP 41C (series)
HP 42S
HP 32S/32SII
TI-95

I suppose the RPL machines sort of count, although RPL gets a bit symbolic in places.

Since the mid-eighties most HP calculators feature a dot matrix display, so that I wonder if, since then, any keystroke programmable RPN device might have appeared that would not display its instructions directly (instead of keycodes). Just think of the 33s, the 35s or the 20b and 30b. And the WP-34s, of course.

Add the HP-33S and the HP-35s

Oh yeah, looks like those TI models have a segment alphanumeric display like the 41C.

And I had forgotten about the 33S and 35S; I try to block that Kinpo stuff out of my memory. Wink

Yes... Excluding 20/21s, so to be correct - all RPN Pioneers Smile
And I forgot about CASIO fx-603p - pocket keystroke MONSTER from early 90-th
