A Spice in a Woodstock (from 21A to 34LP) - Hans-Peter - 10-04-2018 08:53 PM

I wanted a 34LP in a Woodstock chassis with the keyboard of an original 34C. At first glance, the keycaps have the same size. But as you can see, they are a bit different. The Enter key is about 1mm smaller than the original key and the click mechanism is very different. So I tried it with different materials as dampers between the keycaps and the contacts. But I don't have a solution to get the HP keystroke feel. Is there anyone with experience in changing the keycaps across different model types?

Here you'll find some pictures of a Woodstock with Spice keys. But nothing I'm afraid about the keystroke feel.
Btw on the pictures the Enter key doesn't seems to be smaller than the original one.
