This is trivial. Just use the change of base rule with either LOG or LN. Example: Log2 5.7 = (LOG 5.7)/(LOG 2) = (LN 5.7)/(LN 2) = 2.511

The number of keystrokes would the same as if there were an actual (shifted) button for the arbitrary base.
