Changing the name of a Thread (test) - albertofenini - 04-10-2019 12:33 PM Hello everyone, how can I change the name of a thread I have started ? Take this example : http://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/thread-12758.html In this thread I have asked about Memory modules Now I would like to discuss about the HP41 Wand and I'd like to change the name of the thread from "HP41" to "HP41 memory modules and misc" rather than create a new Thread Can I do that ? Eventually, how can I do it ? thx for help Alberto RE: Changing the name of a Thread - rprosperi - 04-10-2019 12:51 PM (04-10-2019 12:33 PM)albertofenini Wrote: Hello everyone, My suggestion, in this case, is to actually create a separate thread with "wand" in the title, as this will let folks searching later to find info about the wand much easier. Someone looking for wand info is not likely to look in a thread called "HP41 memory modules and misc" and separate topics are generally better handled in separate threads, unless there is some synergy or technical connection between the 2 issues. RE: Changing the name of a Thread - albertofenini - 04-10-2019 12:54 PM I see your point, let me pose the question in a different way The Title "HP41" is very generic Suppose I want to change it into something more specific, like "HP41 Memory Modules" Can I do that ? Thank you very much !! Then you can edit the thread's name by editing the "Subject" line at the top. RE: Changing the name of a Thread - albertofenini - 04-10-2019 01:06 PM Thank you very much, I did it also from the Home Page, if you keep clicking on the name it let you change it like Explorer does in a Directory structure |
