Emu42 Sacajawea stuff - Christoph Giesselink - 05-07-2019 07:24 PM Just updated my Emu42 page with all the stuff I made for the Sacajawea calculators in recent years. Some historic remarks. The first program which was able to emulate Sacajawea chip calculators was Emu32 a program derived from Emu42 in 2003. This was a request from CdB for emulating the HP32SII which HP used to design the HP33S. So the profiler in the debugger, first integrated in Emu32, was used to measure the execution time of some internal functions. In 2009 I quit further development on Emu32 and integrated the Sacajawea chip design into Emu42 v1.12. Further I added a program to check the checksum of Bert ROM images on my tools page. RE: Emu42 Sacajawea stuff - aamiel - 05-07-2019 09:12 PM I had forgotten about the 33s. It is the calculator that made me realize that for me the best one was the 32sii. Now thanks to yours and Regis's work I can enjoy it on my phone. Thanks RE: Emu42 Sacajawea stuff - aamiel - 05-10-2019 07:07 AM Christoph, there are some indications that at some point there was some work / planned work on emu10 for the likes of the hp20s, etc. Did it ever happen? Emu10 is working since 2003. Because of the ROM situation publishing was not planned. But now...? Thanks Christoph. I seriously doubt that after so many years HP would care about pioneer and clamshells ROMs. They officially released the Charlemagnes one... They care about 12C because they are still selling it, but that's about it. Although it would probably be made by Kinpo and have an algebraic mode. |
