Conrad is the right address for silicon gasoline hose. I bought mine there, too. I took 4,5 mm outer diameter and ca. 2mm inner diameter.

Hello Karl,
thank you for the tips....as soon as it is necessary I will try it.
At the moment the card reader works excellent. And you know:
never change a running system :-)

Greetings
Thomas

Auch ich grüsse dich herzlich und heisse dich willkommen. Ich komme aus Basel. Vielleicht trifft man sich im 2020 an nächsten Allschwil Meeting.

For the transportation roll if I use silicone tubing I use the thing that is sold as Tygon F-4040-A with id 3.2mm (1/8''), od 6.4mm (1/4''). I.e. the same thing you can find in Katie's old postings.
Sometimes I use rubber O-rings. Some card readers don't like the tubing so much ...

Hallo Matthias,
Danke für das Willkommen.

I can not believe what I see. What a amazing collection.....
How long took it, to collect all this parts? Most of them I see the first time.

You can be proud of this extraordinary collection......

Hello,
thank you for the information.
Currently I use two O-rings at the drive shaft and fix it at the shaft with superglue.
It works fine up to now.

For the adjustment of the drive roll I didn’t follow the service manual, measuring the motor current (see attachment).
I listen to the motor sound were it sounds equal and not “stressed”..

Greetings
Thomas
