I work at a national lab in Albuquerque working on secret stuff for the DOE

I had narrowed it down to something like that, or else maybe "security reasons" meant you were afraid of your Prime getting stolen at work. :-)

That much RAM can hold 40-50 pages full of uncompressed text and the HP-71B can have as much as 3 times more RAM plugged in. Add a little compression and there you are, 200-300 pages are within reach.

Shhhh! What are you trying to do, get my HP71 taken away? I meant *my* HP71B only had 48K of RAM.

I perfectly understood what you meant. I was merely pointing out that nothing prevents you or someone else fitting an HP-71B with RAM enough to hold 200-300 pages of text or more and you can "smuggle many secrets" in that many pages.

How much ink is required to update the display on an HP Prime? If I switch to a white background, will that reduce the amount? Is color more expensive than B/W? Is there a B/W theme that I should use instead?

Will new calculation slots be shipped on a monthly basis? Any roll over privileges? ?
