How to switch result to Scientific notation - teerasak - 11-25-2019 09:31 AM

I set up the display as Standard. The result shows in calculator will be full decimal like:

5200000

How can I switch it to display as 5.2E6

Any key or command to toggle display between 5200000 and 5.2E6

In the CAS and Home settings there is the "Number Format" setting, doesn't it work for you ?
Best,

Aries Wink

Thank you,Aries. I know and have tried that setting.

Normally, I prefer standard display. But just sometimes the standard display does’t work for me as it has too many zeros. So i want to switch the result to Scientific notation.

Hi,

try this program:

Casio-Style ENG Button
"Simulates the ENG button from Casio calculators, which displays numbers in engineering format and converts the exponent (for example, xxxE3 to xxxE6, xxxE6 to xxxE9, or reverse)."
