Here is how a student can make a cheating calculator that passes a casual visual inspection:

First you get these two calculators:

Then you put the guts from the cheating calculator into the genuine Casio case.

For added cheating possibilities, have two or more students with these and text each other; "what did you get on question #7?"

NOTE TO TEACHERS: look at the two ads above and take a look at close look at the calculator display on the real vs. cheating calc. You can tell them apart that way. Spread the news to all of the other teachers.
