39gII as data logger - Thomas Radtke - 05-28-2014 01:58 PM

The 39gII has got the data logger app to connect it to the HP Smartstream 400/410. Currently not owning one, I'd like to ask if someone did some experiments with the 39gII to get data from a PC or µC using the HID protocol. I'm especially interested in connecting it to the Arduino Leonardo, receiving, processing, and presenting data from it.

Is that possible? Is the 39gII the right tool for the job? I've searched the net but only found Tim's statement that it actually is a HID-device regarding USB.
