Now you can easily install the wonderful little program hptalx on your Arch Linux system. I created an AUR package including all patches required to run it on a current system.

hptalx is a program written by Bruno Barberi Gnecco and later by Rafael Ostertag that provides a graphical file browser to transfer objects between a PC and a HP 48/49/50g in both directions and manage the content of the calculator. It's not maintained anymore for a long time, but still works with some minor modifications. But hey, the HP 48G isn't maintained anymore as well. Wink

Please note the comment in the PKGBUILD if you want try it yourself because of the permissions required to access the serial connection.
