On HP's website, the Specifications page for the Prime says:

HP Wrote:Auto power off: User selectable, default 5 minutes

I don't remember seeing any option for adjusting the 5-minute auto-off time. Did I miss it somewhere, or is HP wrong, or is this a preview of things to come?

I think that just refers to the Exam Mode.

No, it's explicitly referring to the auto-power-off. Here's a screen cap from their web page:

Also, exam mode's smallest timeout is 15 minutes, not 5.
