Recently I've been looking for an additional 50g online. In the dozens of pictures of used 50g's on sale, I think I haven't seen a single picture showing the RPN stack. Almost every display picture of a powered-on 50g shows ALG mode. That alone speaks volumes. I got a 50g in great condition for 65 USD.

TWO COMMENTS:
ONE I have no idea why people like ALG mode..... I put mine in RPN right away and it stays there ? ..... best entry system ever invented

TWO an INCREDIBLE buy at $65 (if your see the price they are going for on Amazon)

My video series will mostly be directed at the features I use for Electronics, Physics and Computer Science problems...... so it will not be "everything" that the calculator could possibly do.

It's being done to assist my University students ..... some of whom already have the calculator ..... but by the time I am done, there may be a "ready market" if anybody has them to sell ???

Longer than my usual video length...... but I hope you will find every minute of it informative and helpful ?

Could it be because the factory default when reset is ALG mode?

The default factory mode is ALG, but I think nowadays most people don't even bother to read the manual. They just punch some keys and see what happens.
