Casio fx-570EX Clone - AngsaEmas - 06-01-2020 10:46 AM

Hi!

I bought an fx-570EX clone a little while ago, can you guys see
the difference?

Would love to see your opinions too!

Is there any of tests you would like me to do? Please do reply. Thank you

The things I noticed:

1. It is 2 to 3 times slower than the original, maybe I'll bring in an ES PLUS to test against it

2. The QR Code generated by the calculator for any calculations is fake, unscannable and is the same

3. The authenticity test doesn't generate any QR Code

4. The screen refreshes at a slower rate than the original

5. The answers calculated are sometimes differ by several digits

The "=" and ":" alpha characters.

Silk screening:

Extremely poor silk screening on the bezel. The differential script is almost unreadable.

Keys:

Keys also blurred paint over ( I take it these are not injection moulded).

Screen /Panel:

Different UV coating allowing one to see the unlit segments (probably thinner then original).

Looks like the LCD characters are not as sharply defined but that may be an artifact of the clear plastic wrap.
