hp41 flying goose, program execution indicator - twdeckard - 06-01-2014 10:07 PM Greetings, Is there a way to 'reactivate' the flying goose after displaying the ALPHA register. I have output that persists on the screen for quite a while and it misleads you into thinking the program has locked up. Is there any way to flick the execution indicator back on? A backwards FACING goose is more difficult, but doable. That thread mentions "goose droppings". Some can be seen here: http://hhuc.us/2009/index.htm Check out other pages in that HHC 2009 website for some other fun HP-41 "screen captures", some of which are animated. Only the real HP-41 addicts will recognize all of them. And a backwards facing goose flying backwards is the second derivative, so to speak ;-) There are two functions in the "Sudoku & Sound" module that allow for these without any synthetics wizardry: "LEFT" and "GOOSE" - simply intersperse them in the FOCAL code and voila, your goose obeys your commands... I got those from the NFC EPROM, written by Nelson C. Crowle - remember the AECROM? See page 9 in the attached doc.
