what is new in hardware B? - Alberto Candel - 06-02-2014 09:26 PM

Hi,
Does anybody know if there is any official documentation about the (new) features of hardware Rev B?
There would be (apparently) wireless connectivity. What about sound (like the 50g)? Anything else?

Thanks

A.

I don't think so. There is or will be a kit on offer to allow for wireless communication (2.4GHz radio). It's just that it doesn't work together with the initial revision for some reason.

Having an external radio is a clever move in the educational market imo.

The only other thing mentioned I know of is the ability to use the StreamSmart and sensors.

I couldn't care less about the wireless functionality, but I was considering buying the StreamSmart for some experiments with my son. I guess HP just saved me a lot of money, because now I think I'll just use a raspberry pi/arduino and mostly homebrew sensors with sage for analysis.
