in MacOS and with the HP Connectivity Kit open, when I turn off the HP Prime calculator connected with the USB cable the Connectivity Kit app closes immediately and an error appears: "HP Connectivity Kit quit unexpectedly".
Is this intended/correct and there is nothing that can be done, or would it be possible to have a more user-friendly behaviour, like keeping the HP Connectivity Kit open and allowing the user to turn off and on the calculator without any effect on the Connectivity Kit app other than seeing the HP Prime disconnected or connected?

The MacOS CK is absolutely unstable and thus quite unusable, it has been discussed in other threads. Hope things will get better in a future update.
