DM42 Prob menu question - pascal_meheut - 09-27-2020 06:46 PM Hi, I'm not familiar with the HP-42s but I have a DM42. When I open the Prob menu to say, compute a factorial, it switches to the Stat menu after. It seems that this is standard behavior because Free42 does the same. Can someone tell me why and if there is a way to stay with the Prob menu as long as I want? Or did I miss something? RE: DM42 Prob menu question - DA74254 - 09-27-2020 07:07 PM If you hit "Shift" "Prob" twice, it'll stay in Prob menu until you hit exit. Thhoug "going back to stat" seems odd. If I hit "Shift" "Prob" once, and enter a number plus the function, the bottom menu disappears altogether. RE: DM42 Prob menu question - Thomas Okken - 09-27-2020 07:24 PM The STAT menu is an "application menu," just like SOLVER, ∫f(x), MATRIX, and BASE. These menus are extra sticky and you return to them after exiting other menus. (See pages 20-23 in the HP-42S Owner's Manual.)
