Open OneDrive 2. R-Click on image 3. Click Copy image address 4. In message, click Insert image icon 5. Press Ctrl-V (paste), click OK RE: Test rpz 1 (trying to load a photo) - RPZ - 11-01-2020 10:57 PM Hello Dave, Thought I deleted this test but glad I didn't. I am using an iMac with Catalina and Safari. After going to Onedrive online: right click, share, copy link, click on copy. Here I am just pasting the link with right click, paste, or cmd-v on Mac. https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ag_uLaH6mJWRkn9WwTHbCXYuq0Sh?e=ePOFbx Here I am clicking the hyperlink icon and pasting into box, ok https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ag_uLaH6mJWRkn9WwTHbCXYuq0Sh?e=ePOFbx Last time I tried this I thought it was highlighted, not this time. Here I am clicking insert image, paste link, ok. No highlighting, no picture. This is the same image you were able to insert in your post. I am missing something. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Rick On preview post, 2 links are highlighted. Where image should be just a box with question mark. Ughhhhhhh RE: Test rpz 1 (trying to load a photo) - CMarangon - 11-01-2020 11:10 PM Hello! This image page is a dynamic one. It is a page that redirect to anolther. I think that it is the reason it does not work. Use a page with a static address for the image, like this one at my site: http://area48.com/hpm/hpglobe1.jpg Put it into [img] and [/img] (image tags) And it should works fine. Site is mine and photo is mine, no boring copyrights required. Thanks RE: Test rpz 1 (trying to load a photo) - Dave Frederickson - 11-02-2020 02:09 AM I believe Carlos is right. Another way to put it would be to say that you need to link to an image, not a webpage. That link that you get when you share something on onedrive is not a link to an image. Instead, it is a link to the page on which the image (and the share button and everything else) is to be found. RE: Test rpz 1 (trying to load a photo) - RPZ - 11-02-2020 05:56 PM Understand now that the problem is static vs dynamic, webpage vs image address. In Onedrive the only relevant menu options are share and embed, neither of which work. When I click on the photo and then r-click shows copy image address. Still not working for me. Tried icloud and dropbox and a bunch of work arounds with no luck. But Dave, you did it. If I copy image address of your posted gear photo I can copy image address and insert image. How did you do that? Went back to my first post. Click on link and see gear photo. R-click and copy image address. Goto this post, insert image, paste image address: ---eof RE: Test rpz 1 (trying to load a photo) - Dave Frederickson - 11-02-2020 07:35 PM Hi Rick, Here's the image address I get from your first post. Code: https://bn1303files.storage.live.com/y4mBspLdSwl9n8o6uJxi7strUPIeWS1X3Ra1cjrK8QeQwg8k24iWFlDRUoPWbwXQJLHTJLSdsPEo0Bo1XzgWqEEuOb53IJcqNpQ5qltdkih7vyWpzfO5lXZfRN_NFtmSQkz351p-fozzc49W3F24fExZMuouomiS8pLMPs7BYESL8BYpfQnOqXwm9TnLseDEYmsbJ4872M37_iLREuVicnGHw/20201020_133453%20RPZ.jpeg?psid=1&width=593&height=790 ... and just to make sure. So for some reason the image displayed, previously. I suspect that it has a lot to do with dynamic vs static webpages and I recall that Google Drive at one time needed Permalinks in order to display images. http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/2013/02/permalinks-for-google-drive-images.html Dave RE: Test rpz 1 (trying to load a photo) - RPZ - 11-02-2020 08:34 PM Huh.
