Invalid Card Data startup error on HP48G - sharklodon - 10-29-2020 07:15 PM Hi, On my HP48G (not GX), message "Invalid Card Data" is Displayed when the Calculator is Turned On. I tried to fix it with PINIT command, but it doesn't happens, and message is displayed again. Any way to fix it? Thanks, Shark RE: Invalid Card Data startup error on HP48G - rprosperi - 10-29-2020 10:50 PM Sorry, original reply was about using cards, it seems your quite clear 'not a GX' comment was not clear enough the first time through. I think Mark's comments are the most likely cause. RE: Invalid Card Data startup error on HP48G - mfleming - 10-30-2020 12:44 AM Any chance your 48g was modified to expand the main memory? I vaguely remember instructions to replace the main RAM chip or add another, hence the 48 may think it has a memory expansion card. Check using the MEM command. A hard reset may also recover, but you'd lose what you have in memory.
