Emu48 File Transfer - MNH - 01-18-2021 05:06 PM (1) I want to give programs that I intend to write on an Emu48 to some friends. I assume that files saved as *.e48 can be easily opened by an Emu48 on any Windows computer. Additionally, I'd like to save my programs in a library. I assume libraries can be attached to an Emu48 just like with a real HP 48. Would the same apply for Emu48 for Android? (2) I want to download a program to the Emu48 to create a library using a library maker from hpcalc.org. Aren't programs on that website stored as binary files? Edit -> Load Object... looks like how it's done. (3) I've always wrote programs on a real HP 48. Would writing them using HPUserEdit or Debug4x HP 48/49 SDK make it easier? Doesn't the later have a built-in library maker? RE: Emu48 File Transfer - John Keith - 01-18-2021 06:03 PM Yes, the state files can be opened by Emu48 on either Windows or Android. Libraries work just as on a real calculator.- just load them onto the stack and store in a port. If it's just one or two programs you can export them by clicking Edit...Save Object. I know nothing about creating libraries so I will leave those questions for others. |
