I used to go the the Federated Group store near me in the mid 80's (greater Los Angeles area). I can remember buying at least a TV, a VCR and an Atari 1080 floppy disk drive there to go with our Atari 800XL. Later when Atari bought the Federated Group, I remember the mountains of old Atari game systems, 8-bit computers and peripherals that they were dumping at low discount prices. Later still after Federated had faded away, I ended up mostly going to Circuit City and then Fry's Electronics.
