Dear Forum,
I am HP calculator user since 1975, but new member in Forum.
I bought a new HP laptop with Windows 10 OS which is fast and good.
I tried to install the https://www.hpcalc.org/prime/pc/HP_Prime_Virtual_Calculator_x64_2020_01_16.exe
version of the HP Prime Virtual Calculator program so many times, but always fails.
After installation there was a message "Installation Succesfully Completed", but when I tried to run the program,I got "Could not initialize application!" message.
What can be the problem? Any suggestion, help or trick are wellcome.

Try it from the following official HP Prime site:
http://www.hp-prime.de/de/category/6-downloads
Here you can chose between a free simulator and a Pro simulator for which a little fee has to be paid and you can chose between Windows PC, Mac and Android.
I am very satisfied with the Pro simulator on windows and android.

That's not an official HP site; it's as unofficial as mine is (it's run by Moravia, which distributes calculators in Europe for HP). And the files there are VERY old (2018).

Hmm, doesn't seem to work via browser anymore.
If you have an FTP client you may open:
http://ftp.hp.com
Then go: pub -> calculators ->Prime
You'll find the latest software both for 32 and 64 bit win as well as for mac.

I used HP Prime Virtual Calculator and Connectivity Kit 2018 10 16 version on Windows 7 OS from 2018 to 2020 without any problem.
Downloaded the x64_2020_01_16 version for using them on Windows 10 OS.
The Connectivity Kit program running without any problem more then 3 weeks. Happiness!!!
The same version of HPPVC always fail. I can't understand why. It seems to me this is insoluble problem. It was told me this is not a userfriendly program. I completly agree with this statement.
Can suggest some solution an experienced user?
