HP-95 (the Topcat that almost was. - Matt Agajanian - 07-26-2021 09:02 PM Hi all. I remember reading about the 95 here. I understand that it was scrapped and all prototypes were destroyed. Yet, a handful escaped the fate. Even though the 95 fell victim, were there any programming, operational, function set elements incorporated in later models? RE: HP-95 (the Topcat that almost was. - Sylvain Cote - 07-27-2021 02:06 AM The 95C had program area partitioning, my take is that the feature was reused and expanded in the HP-41C. IMHO, not having a card reader or other external storage capability at that price level doomed this machine from the get-go. I wouldn't have bought it for sure. V. |
