New posters have their posts moderated awaiting approval. This avoids the countless amounts of spam that would otherwise flood the forum.
That is why the moderators often see 3-4 repeated posts by newly registered forum members because they do not see their first efforts.
Sorry about that, but the alternative is much worse.
