Full set HP97 for sale sold for parts. - RonP - 01-30-2022 02:43 PM

I have a full set of HP97 with original box, all papers, original receipt etc., bag, charger, blank cards, printerpaper
Printer works fine, cardreader writes and reads programs. Card is pulled true easy and smooth.
Prerecorded cards from HP give an error. Not sure if this is the cardreader or prerecorded cards that got erased over time. I have no other machine to test this at this moment.

Update: after 2 hours running the calculator stopped, leds are out, only a small dit in the upper left corner, no printer, no cardreader. Maybe an issue in the battery ir powersupply, machine has not been started up for at least 10 years.

Therefore now as “ For Parts”, sold as is.

Condition is nearly like new.

Foto’s on request.

It could be a simple capacitor failure in the power supply, especially if it has been sitting idle for a long time - or the (possibly old) battery discharged enough to stop the calculator working.

cheers
