Hi SlideRule,
That's funny the article mentions HP-125 (Hewlitt Packard !) - isn't it a Personal Computer ? - as well it pushes ahead the SR-51 !!
By reading further, SR-52 and HP-65 (Hewlitt again !) appears on the same level.

Yes, it's basically a terminal with a second processor (Z-80) so that it can be used as a standalone computer running CP/M. It is from the early 1980ies, so several years younger than the TI SR-51 and the other calculators mentioned in the article. I wonder why he mixes such different tools in his text?

Exactly! I immediately assumed he meant HP-25 and "125" was just a typo, as in the article he calls them both "electronic hand calculators" and goes on to say "...both mean and vector strength... can be calculated easily in the field, if so desired." The HP-125 can't be considered in any way handheld or easily used in the field.
What's interesting is when he mentions at the end that the SR-52 and HP-65 are "completely programmable" it appears he missed that the HP-25 could be programmed as well.
