Most of those hacks might work with the whole family - 501, 502, 601, 602. Those are very, very nice calculators, too. RE: Casio fx-502P — I2C expansion possibilities - blackjetrock - 02-28-2022 04:51 PM The board works with the 501 and 502. The 601/602 uses the same interface hardware but a slightly different command set. This is a bit odd as they both talk to the same peripherals. My 502s are more reliable than my 602s and so I developed the code on them. I'll probably have a go at getting a 602 working as well if i can keep one working long enough. Andrew RE: Casio fx-502P — I2C expansion possibilities - damaltor - 03-01-2022 12:38 PM Well, i have inherited the 602 including printer and tape interface and such from my father. it should be about 40odd years old now and still works perfectly. i also sold another 602 a while ago which did work fine, too. my 502 and 501 both work equally well so i cannot tell of any failures in this family. |
