What do you do when you want to plug something into a vintage computer but don’t have the correct cable and the connector used is long since obsolete or proprietary? In this video we’re going to talk about DIY solutions to recreating obsolete electrical connectors at home. We’ll cover the design process of a connector I made for the 12-pin Casio 4-bit bus (Tandy PC-4, etc.) and see how it evolved over time from the initial concept.
