horizontal line flickering? - Bromad - 04-24-2022 09:33 PM

Hello all Smile
I have a quick question about a new HP Prime I just got in order to replace my old one.
Mine was stolen out of my car a few weeks back at school, and have dearly missed it. I just got a new one today from Best Buy and the gray lines that separate calculations on the home and cas screen are flickering to a distracting extent. I've already tried updating the firmware. Does anyone happen to know if this is a known QC issue and I should just swap it out? Or are there any software fixes for it?
Any help is appreciated from this broke undergrad Smile

Have you tried adjusting the refresh rate?

That is one of the things the adjustable refresh rate is used for and it helped the last person who had this issue.

Having received a spanking new Prime G2 Rev D only today, the screen flicker in a sunlit room was the first thing I noticed. I thought I’d been given a faulty unit.

Thanks to this thread, the screen won’t give me headaches.
