Hp50g displaying function definition as graphics - RichieHH - 06-15-2022 10:16 PM I created a function f in the eqw, hit enter then LS Def to define it. When I first hit enter to edit the eqw, my new equation was displayed in all its glory on the rpn stack - multi line with sqrt symbols etc. Excuse my vocabulary but I hope you get my meaning. Later on , I can display my function f as source code using RS f , but how can I display it again as it did when I exited the eqw? It's a tough learning curve. I'm in exact , textbook is on. I thought maybe I could copy the source displayed with RS f and paste it into the eqw but that doesn't work. In short, I think I'm a bit lost in the UI. RE: Hp50g displaying function definition as graphics - Wes Loewer - 06-16-2022 12:25 PM Now that you have defined f, you can evaluate f at any value by putting that value on the stack and pressing f (not RS f). So if you want the expression in terms of 'X', simply put 'X' in single quotes on the stack and press f to evaluate the expression at 'X'. If you have not defined 'X', you can save a keystroke by using just X without the single quotes. |
