Is this sample with purplish writings for model number, ON and ENTER, a known variant (serial #: ID012084**)?

Yes, it comes also with the full black keyboard background. It’s a late version of the 17bii, manufactured at the same time as the green/purple versions of the 10b, 20s and 32sii.
