Capacity of "Topcat" 82033 battery packs - Johnboy - 05-05-2023 05:45 AM Does anyone know the capacity (mAh) of the 82033 battery packs (4 x Sub-C cells) as used in Topcat calculators and 82143/82162 printers and 82161 tape drive ? Thanks John RE: Capacity of "Topcat" 82033 battery packs - brouhaha - 05-05-2023 06:24 AM I don't know specifically about the cells HP used, but IIRC, typical NiCd sub-C cells in the mid-1970s were around 1100 mAh. Yes, that seems to be in line with this battery check procedure in the 82143A service manual. [attachment=12060] A modern (rebuild) battery would be around 3 times as much, see e.g. here (HP82033A).
