BAI RE: HP 97 print issue - teenix - 05-27-2023 02:57 AM The problem could be... Faulty print heads, they should read about 10 ohms. Faulty ribbon cable to print head or connectors, or just that the cable is not located properly. Faulty pin connectors from main CPU board to printer board, 12, 13 and 14 Faulty driver chip, marked as U2 on the printer circuit board Faulty PIK chip cheers Tony RE: HP 97 print issue - zixingcheche - 05-27-2023 04:18 AM Thanks Tony! I checked the connector and ribbon cable. it seems to be well connected. in addition, the pin connectors are well contact between CPU & printer broad. and for the rest, I have no tools for checking the chips. I would like to keep this situation as it was. anyway, thanks for your advisees! BR, bai RE: HP 97 print issue - John Garza (3665) - 05-28-2023 03:48 PM And of course, DIRTY print heads. Disassemble and alcohol swab. Or try some slightly abrasive paper (like card stock) RE: HP 97 print issue - zixingcheche - 05-29-2023 12:02 AM (05-28-2023 03:48 PM)John Garza (3665) Wrote: And of course, DIRTY print heads.
