I'm looking to sell my HP 41CV, & maybe some extra gear later.
The calculator is in non-scratched, good working condition.
It has a grey flat-plastic HP overlay fitted.
Also included: a USB to computer power supply cable, with an adapted Mini-USB socket in the 41CV recharger hole. Plus the standard long brown plastic zip case.
Also included 4x 'N' size NiMh batteries which are rechargeable with any exterior recharger.
# Recent repair was done to the 2x cracked (not-broken) LOWER POSTS, using Bondic glue & hardened with a UV light.
I'm looking for AUD$300.00, for it. They were sold in 1984 for US$325.00 by HP.
Nowadays they go for US$200 to US$300 on bidding sites like eBay.

Hi Rob,
The IL module you have queried is :
'HP 82160A HP-IL Module', (click here to see the manual)
That is the standard IL transport module supplied with any IL interfacing gear. To function the ROM has the twin leads for peripheral attachments to be added on the IL loop. This ROM has the full 64 programs, for complete control of everything IL associated.
I should mention the Aussie mains supply is 240v only, without 110v adaptability like more modern power plugs of today.
The Quick Reference guide is included.

Hello Derek,
The package was delivered today.
- The W&W Card Reader EPROM Box is working perfectly.
Cosmetic:
. There is a small part of plastic that has been broken and ejected because the screw was too long.
. When I have time, I will replace the screw with a shorter one and patch up the hole with epoxy glue. - The Crash Recovery plug-in rom does not work, I will have to take it apart to see why.
I will keep you posted of my findings (and my repairs) when I have time to do this.

Hi Sylvain,
Its many many years since I used the Crash Recovery ROM, it was working in those days. Are you sure - they say a 'syntho' crash is the/a good way to test it. They are not hard to get !!!
Anyway I am glad that you are an able electronic tester, it makes you the ideal person to straighten it out.
